Datacenter Cooling

Data Center cooling is one of the challenges that face datacenter managers. In one hand cooling the datacenter will maintain processing power but in the same time if not done properly will increase power consumption which will lower efficiency.

When designing datacenter cooling the following should be considered:

  1. The type of datacenter and its intended use
  2. Current and future requirements.
  3. Restrictions; such as building, available power, available space…
  4. Heat distribution.

  • The main parameters in selecting Datacenter cooling

    1. Temperature required
    2. Humidity level to be maintained
    3. Air flow characteristic and volume
    4. Level of redundancy and fault tolerance

  • Entry level InRow Data Center Cooling

Data Center Cooing unit small Entry level InRow AC unit designed for small datacenters with 1 to 6 racks. The unit required small foot print and it is self contained thus there is no external units. The main features of this unit are the ability to deploy the unit in short time, doesn’t required external equipments, and it can be added to the datacenter at any time as a retrofit or when extra cooling is required.
  • InRow Data Center Cooling

Data Center coolingThe InRow Direct Expansion product design closely couples the cooling with the IT heat load. This design prevents hot air recirculation, while improving cooling predictability and allowing for a pay as you grow environment. Available in self-contained, fluid cooled, and air-cooled configurations with or without humidity control, these products meet the diverse requirements for closets, server rooms, and data centers. IT operators looking to improve efficiency or deploy higher density equipment will benefit from the modular design of the InRow Direct Expansion products. The intelligent controls of the InRow Direct Expansion products actively adjust fan speed and refrigerant flow to match the IT heat load to maximize efficiency and address the dynamic demands of today's IT environments. • InRoom Data Center Cooling

Computer room cooling unit air flow

InRoom cooling units for datacenters are designed with large datacenters on mind. The units blow cold air under the raised floor and the intake the hot air from the top of the unit. The distribution of cold air in the datacenter is managed by perforated access floor.
